What a treat to finally have a bakery in Fruita. A gold mine. I am very impressed with the quality of the bread and bakery products. I purchased the Mother sourdough bread. A chewy interior with a crispy crust and a true distinct flavor. European quality. Every bit as good as being in Italy. Imagine if they made pizza.
Went there with my daughter to try it out, glad we did! Their sourdough is delicious and their pastries are divine!

Everything was delicious. We enjoyed a potato knish, a chocolate croissant, coffee and an absolutely delightful chai with agave and oat milk. Outstanding. We may be back tomorrow!
This place is an upgrade for all of Fruita. It feels fancy yet homey, and comfortable. The space is sparkling clean and well thought out in design and style. Simple and sophisticated. The high quality breads and pastries are beautiful and taste like art. We had an empanada, a date nut scone, and an excellent hot cup of coffee. We’re so happy it is finally open and that it was super busy on a Saturday morning. We’ll definitely be back, yay!
I'm calling the cops! This loaf of bread I bought is fantastic! I will go here every time I go through Fruita. I wish I could of had some of those politically woke cookies. Please keep up the good work. Atmosphere is cute as hell too.
We love this place! Everything was beyond delicious. The atmosphere is lovely as well. Clean, bright and airy. We split a beef Empanada, a Potato Gouda Knish and a cup of Carrot Ginger soup. Will definitely be back! Thank you for the creativity that you put into your food.
Finally I hit the right day and right time to get a loaf of sourdough bread from The Bread Mine. I should let you know that I am an addict, addicted to sourdough bread and I was so happy to find a local source to fill my needs. I munched on samples of the marble rye and bought a loaf of the Fig sourdough. When I got home l wished I had also bought a loaf of the Rye. But that's for next time. They've just added Thursdays so now between 9:00 and 2:00 Thursday through Saturday you can have some of the best bread in the valley. Hopefully I'll get there early enough next time to try a pastry. I am delighted to have this wonderful bakery open in our community.
Absolutely loved this bakery and the pastries they sell. Probably the best scone I have ever had (nut & date) plus the coffee was tasty and nicely brewed. My breakfast at The Bread Mine was an amazing start to a full day of Mountain Biking around Fruita.
I am an almond croissant connoisseur…. 100% nailed it. The ginger bread muffin is also 10/10. Can’t wait to try more of their stuff. Super-high quality food. The sesame miso sourdough was fantastic
